It’s not the Carla and Lisa show, or the Carla show. Other characters have to be given storylines too. Maybe just be happy that she’s back on our screens without pointlessly moaning

Carla is an established legendary character, she is not in a supporting role...Ali King has had health issues and lost her mum so is probably having a long overdue break currently. Last year she had Corriedale commitments and relentless stories in Q4 probably couldn't take the time off she needed because she didn't want to let ungrateful viewers like you down.

The Connor-Swains are a family so the stories going forward will be intertwined, which will see it affect the four of them in different ways. It is evident you do not know how a soap works and are coming up with stupid conspiracy theories that are damaging, I really need some of you to stop with these stupid takes.

And actually everything she had going on could very well have messed up filming / the story. The timeline adds up wether you like it or not

It’s clear to see from AK loosing her mum and being so poorly that the reason the Becky storyline had so many plot holes was due to AK taking time off, presumably unexpectedly. However, there is no way an 18 year old would ask to be adopted and I’m certain Corrie wouldn’t do it. There is soap land far fetched for drama and this idea is not it.

It’s not really a real debt, if that makes sense. They only start taking repayment once you earn over a certain amount (between 25k - 30k depending on what year you started uni) and it’s wiped off after 25-40 years (again depending on when you started uni). So it doesn’t feel like a real debt cos they don’t take you to court or send debit collectors and you some people might only pay like £40 a month back. But the number is huge when you log on and look cos they do add internet on so it grows all the time 😂

@duskysix @LadyReignFC I don’t even look at my student finance balance 🤦‍♀️ 4 years for undergrad and then a masters! Wish I did have parents who’d paid it for me but I didn’t go until I was 27 though so I think even if they were rich that ship had sailed 😂
