I have a special friendship with her. She died at age 26 of Addison’s disease. I was diagnosed with it 8 years ago. I got very sick on a business trip to London. It took the doctors a few days to diagnose it. I almost died. I had the anointing of the sick. When the priest touched my forehead I felt the hand of God. All fear and worry was gone. About an hour later they figured out what treatment I needed and I quickly recovered. Fortunately, now you can take medicine for this. As long as I have the medicine I’m okay.

Sola Scriptura in action. Both claim “the Bible is completely true”. Both treat it as their “highest authority”. Yet they completely disagree on essential, fundamental concepts regarding salvation. A disagreement “Sola Scriptura” will never resolve.

Yes. Imagine telling the Jews that circumcision is okay for their babies to enter the Old Covenant. However, in the New Covenant your babies are excluded from baptism. Baptism of babies is scriptural, historical, ecclesial, intellectual, and logical. Those who deny the baptism of infants are violating the laws of God.

The Catholic Church teaches that same sex attraction is not a sin. Acting on that attraction by engaging in sexual activities with the same sex is where it becomes sinful. There are all sorts of sexual disorders. Example, a man is attracted to his female co-worker and she is attracted to him. Both are married. The attraction isn’t sinful, but the disordered action of engaging in sexual activities is sinful. There are many other examples of this where attraction is okay, but acting on the attraction crosses the line.
