The first step in applying for a grant from The Catholic Foundation involves submitting a Letter of Intent, or LOI. This year, the LOIs are due by end of day on Monday, June 8 for the fall 2026 grant cycle.

All Texas artists 18 yrs of age and older have until Sept. 10 to submit one original work of art that depicts an “Expression of Beauty” to be eligible for a $5,000 grand prize in the 21st annual Catholic Foundation #ArtOnThePlaza competition.
