"During the celebration, the new priests offered their traditional “first blessings,” a cherished Catholic custom in which the faithful receive a special blessing marking the start of the priest’s ministry." https://t.co/mcThbCIwvZ
"Those who come forward in this liturgy are already baptized Christians, often from Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, or Anglican communities. The Catholic Church recognizes their baptism as valid."

In order to protect the human person in the age of #ArtificialIntelligence, we must once again reflect on the common good, the universal destination of goods, subsidiarity, solidarity and social justice. #MagnificaHumanitas

Humanity, created by God in all its grandeur, is today facing a pivotal choice: either to construct a new Tower of Babel or to build the city in which God and humanity dwell together. In Jesus Christ, this humanity in its grandeur becomes the Way, the Truth and the Life, opening the path for each of us to grow toward fullness. #MagnificaHumanitas

We lift up in prayer our brothers and sisters who have gone before us, sacrificing their own lives for the protection of others. Grateful for their service. 🙏
"That’s the Good News of Easter for us: There is no “in” group or “out” group in God’s eyes. “Culture wars” are inconsequential. The elite and the average person, the rich and the poor, the powerful and the powerless are all God’s children."

The Holy Spirit opens the door of our heart, helping us to overcome resistance, selfishness, mistrust and prejudice, while enabling us to live as children of God and brothers and sisters to one another.
Happy Pentecost Sunday! 🔥 Did you know this day is often called the "birthday of the Church"? 🎂 50 days after Easter, the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles and Mary in Jerusalem, sending them out on a global mission. 🌍✨ Come, Holy Spirit!
Let us learn to be rich in a different way: more attentive to relationships, more intent on valuing the common good, more attached to the local area, more grateful in welcoming and integrating those who come to live with us.
As evidenced by the unbridled promotion and implementation of technology at the expense of human dignity, we are truly experiencing an eclipse of the sense of what it means to be human. It is imperative to recover an understanding of the true meaning and grandeur of humanity as intended by God. It is in this sense that the challenge we currently face is not technological, but anthropological, and it is my hope that the Encyclical Letter to be published within a few days will contribute to answering this challenge.
