It's incremental, inadequate & late action that leads into lockdowns. Pl. don't blame the scientists who've advocated for early mitigations to keep cases low when this inevitably happens. Direct your ire at those who opposed basic public health measures, making this inevitable.🧵

The US GOVT CDC tells its citizens these are the common symptoms of current Covid-19 -but the UK has not shifted its position since may 2020 despite the regular ZOE data to the contrary. Keeping the UK population ignorant with new variants around is not a great recipe 4 success.
