@nationalexpress Hello, I booked a bus ticket yesterday and the payment seems to have gone through, but I didn't receive it by email, neither it is in my account. Could you help?
@HMRCgovuk Hi, I have submitted my tax return more than a week ago and I was expecting an email or confirmation/notification from HMCR, before making the payment of my tax. I haven't received anything. Should I pay anyway or something should be checked/confirmed before I do? Tks
@HMRCcustomers Yes, I know how much I need to pay. I am just unsure if I can pay already or if I have to wait for a confirmation/notification from HMRC that all is correct and I can proceed?
@HMRCcustomers Hello, I am eligible for the 2nd claim of SESS. When I start the procedure it says that I need to confirm:
-you traded in the tax year 2019 to 2020
I did trade, but only less than £1000, as most on my income was from employment. Am I still ok to claim?
@HMRCcustomers But in which form? E.g. I expected to work at events that won't happen, therefore I can make an estimation of the loss based of the predictions/expectations of work I had but I won't have document (contracts, invoices etc) to prove it, as I didn't even contact the organisers.
@HMRCcustomers What does it mean (referred to SESS seconda round) "You will need to keep a record of evidence of how your business has been adversely affected". What should we be able to show in case we couldn't do the work expected (therefore no contracts/invoices will exist)?
@HMRCcustomers Thanks Sofia. Other question: if I have only less than £1000 income as self-employed and the rest is as employed...do I still need to submit the tax-return?
@HMRCcustomers When I fill in my tax-return and have to complete the section about my employment income and the taxes deducted from the income, do I have to include income tax and National Insurance contributions taken out of the salary, or only the first? Thanks
@HMRCcustomers Thanks again. However, I have earned more in 18/19 as self-employed (that was my main income then) than in 19/20 when I became employed (employment is now most of my income). What am I entitled to, given that my circumstances were different in 18/19?
@HMRCcustomers Thanks Steve, however, I read that the income from self-employment has to be the same or higher than from employment if one is both. So, if my employment income is more than the self-employment one, can I still claim?
