If there is a court order the parent withholding the child is breaking the court order therefore the law… The attorney general raised the child support limit by $500.00 per month in Texas so they could get more money in their pockets…. See the Attny General gets a cut of every dollar paid in child support before the parent who has the child gets their cut… it’s a corrupt system and they could care less about “What’s best for the child”…. They actually hide behind that nonsense literally taking the dads out of the family structure, tying their hands because the corrupt attorneys just want a 5k (or more) retainer plus an hourly rate for sub par defense…It’s real people and happening right now… look it up and see for yourself… They will even take up to 49% of a parent’s check, because they can’t take 50%…. They don’t care if the other parent is raising and providing support for their other children… it’s sickening and these judges could care less while they get into their Mercedes and eat at nice restaurants…. Our American families are suffering because of this corrupt greedy system and it needs to stop!!!!
