Post-op update (super late!): endometriosis had spread to my bladder, which they figured since I was having complications. Doc estimated I could get 1-3 years symptom free before it could return. Recovery has been great and I've been feeling much better overall! 😁

Out of surgery!!! They confirmed significant endometriosis. I woke up smiling apparently ☺ im so happy to be on the road to recovery now. Thanks everyone for the continued support 🥰

It's just ridiculous and every single job I apply for requires at least 10mins of tests AFTER applying and carefully crafting a cover letter. 🙃

Indeed needs to start telling applicants before they hit the apply now button something like "this app requires 25+ mins of assessments!"
I'm so over applying for minimum wage jobs that require half an hour of cover letter, indeed tests, and the app itself for each app.

For my first surgery tho ever, def not as bad as I thought, and I'm not experiencing anything that I wasn't already warned about. And I'm lucky to have friends and coworkers helping me with errands. 🥰

Seriously just feeling so happy and supported, the doctors and nurses took good care of me. I found a 3rd incision mark today- thought they had only used two but nope, lol. Overall I'm able to walk around a little and even went down a couple of stairs with minimal effort!

And I've been playing thru Mass Effect 1 on the legendary edition lately. Almost done with it and then I'm gonna play thru 2 and 3. Really enjoying the series so far so I might blog about it soon as I'm more able!

My nurses also loved my stuffed rabbit and was like "awww that's your Linus(sp?) blanket! No shame haha!" It was sweet. I've had that cute rabbit since I was like 3, of course I can be without it but bringing it with me today made me feel more comfortable. 🥰

I also cleaned the whole house yesterday and pre-made some ramen broth that would be an easy meal (and versatile!) To re-heat and pour over ramen noodles or rice. It just feels good to be resting and comfortable at home. Thanks for all the well wishes everyone!

Thinking back on my surgery this morning. I fell asleep in the room after the anesthesia tech came by to ask questions. Then it was just... darkness. Pure darkness.

The whole experience was surreal though. Waking up felt like the map was still loading in after the character loads in 😂😂 my cpu couldn't keep up. 🥴

I am doing okay though! I've had minimal pain and im drinking tons of water. hard time talking tho, sore throat from tube 😥
