Hey @MyPGW so how am I supposed to get literally anywhere while in my wheelchair when your workers left the sidewalk dug up without any temporary cover in *both sides* of my building!? I have places to be too!

The ADA turns 34 this year this isn't even remotely acceptable!

The first thing SEPTA does when it wakes up every morning is kick a disabled person and then wonder how they can make their system even more hostile to their riders

My card was originally due to expire during the pandemic so I was told to wait until I received something about renewing it, so the date on my physical card is incorrect

@SEPTA_SOCIAL despite my reduced fair card saying it wasn't due to expire and not receiving anything in the mail about it, my card is now listed as expired AND the website to schedule will not load. Calling to schedule is NOT an option for me.

How can I schedule my appointment?

@SEPTA_SOCIAL No, there isn't someone to call for me and the website was broken a couple of weeks ago too.

I also still don't understand why my card expired without any notice, especially when my online account says it's good until 12/99

@SEPTA_SOCIAL It happened a few minutes before this tweet because I wanted to make sure I got into the next bus first, which apparently means stepping into the street so that the driver will slow down

@SEPTA_SOCIAL why do your bus drivers always blow right past me when I'm at a stop and WAIVING the driver down? We're not supposed to be required to step into the street to get their attention, and it conspicuously always happens when my service dog is with me

@SEPTA_SOCIAL It was the 42 westbound and it was not crowded at all and there was even another person at the stop with me. It was the stop at Civic center Blvd and west service drive

@PhilaParking I am unable to get one in person due to both my work hours and the fact that I'm disabled and immunocompromised. Is there a non in-person way to get one? Especially considering how difficult it is to park in the area near the office listed

@PhilaParking what can I do if i have a residential parking permit for my car, but am currently using a rental while my car is in the shop being repaired. Is there a way to temporarily transfer the permit to the rental car?

reasonable & easy as a hcw putting on a mask around the patient. Now I’m a mostly able bodied white woman w/employer health ins. So I know that even w/my vulnerabilities as a woman, I’m not as vulnerable as someone on medical assistance, a Black or Brown person, 2/3
