🚨NEW: Supermarket giant Aldi has CONFIRMED that they DO NOT sell Halal meat 🇬🇧
“We ask all our farmers - whether they supply fresh meat or frozen - to stun their animals before slaughter”
Brilliant news - be like Aldi 👍
@FactionNFantasy@Rainmaker1973 Wood pigeons and crows in my garden are, ever so slowly, beginning to realise I'm not going to kill them. It's only taken 16 years but now I can walk to within 1 metre of the bird table without them flapping off. It makes me, and I hope them, tremendously happy 🤗
This guy's tells his cows he can't get the well to work, but someone will be there in an hour to fix it: they're all listening and they seem to understand
@y_alibhai The right wing don't tend to protest against rightful convictions, regardless of skin colour or sexual preferences. That's more your territory.
Makerfield:
This wasn't a vote for Labour
It was the opposite
Some Labour/floating voters voted for a leadership contest, and I don't blame them. ANYONE would be a better, fairer, safer PM than Keir Starmer
I've never believed in tactical voting, but the logic is clear
Extraordinary scenes in EU Parliament
Chants of "Send them back" and "Shame on you" after a new Migrant Detention Bill passes its first reading
* Migrants with no right to be in the EU could be detained or returned home
* No right to remain during an Appeal to stay

@FalconbridgeV01@Skint_Eastwood1 Briefest handshake ever! Trump opens his mouth, shuts his eyes (as well he might) and instantly talks to someone else. The general point was correct - this looks like a snub, handshake or no handshake
The worst thing about those that got it so wrong about the Dundee girls is that they probably won’t think about why they got it wrong. They won’t examine their loathing of the working class, their “anti wacist” virtue signalling dishonest bullshit that meant they proudly stood against those girls with nothing to go on beside the video of a frightened young girl v immigrant adults.
They proved to everyone that they unquestioningly stand with perverts and menaces as long as they’re “foreign” or brown and against young white girls.
We all saw it.
I bet they’ll be standing against the working class girls when it comes to migrant hotels and the threat of physical and sexual assaults from migrant men.
If you have just arrived and are wondering why so much of this account is given over to a bull, a ewe, a goat and a few other animals in fields you will never visit, stay a moment. There is a reason.
These are the Ruminati. Each is a living argument doing an ancient job, and between them they dismantle most of what the modern world believes about food, land, and who is to blame for the planet.
Gerald, a Hereford bull, has spent four years turning one corner of one field into wildflowers, and has never asked anyone to notice.
Doris, a Texel ewe, knows fifty faces and forecasts the weather better than the BBC. She is the answer to anyone who calls the animals we eat stupid.
Keith, an Anglo-Nubian goat, respects no fence in Devon and turns land no plough could touch into food.
Eduardo, an alpaca, grows a fibre finer than cashmere on Welsh rain, and is guarding an orphan lamb that has decided it is a small strange alpaca.
Freya, a European bison, is back on a hill her kind left six thousand years ago, raising a fox-coloured calf, Seren, who already leads the herd out in front of her.
Marged, a Tamworth pig, turns an old orchard over with her nose and hands it back richer than she found it.
Hector, a Cavalry Black, stood seventeen years for the Household Cavalry and has lately decided it is safe to lie down and sleep. And Moss, a collie pup, is learning the oldest job a dog has.
Here is what they stand for. You will have been told animals like these are wrecking the planet. The methane a grazing cow breathes out is carbon the grass pulled from the air last season and sent straight back, nothing like the ancient carbon we drag from the ground and burn. The wildflowers and the curlew are here because of the grazing animals, not despite them. Strip the livestock off a British hill and you do not get Eden. You get bracken, scrub and silence.
So this account exists to defend the British farmer, lectured for a generation by people who have never mended a wall in the rain. The man at the gate at first light and the shepherd on the fell in January are the reason this island still works.
Underneath sits the oldest pattern of all. The people telling everyone what to eat were never short of meat themselves. The poor got the bread and the gruel and were told to be grateful. The modern version swapped the top hat for a lab coat, but the message is the same. Eat less of the food that built you. Trust the chart. I do not accept it, and neither do they. Real food is the birthright of ordinary people, not a luxury rationed out by the fashionable.
So while the country argues over who runs it, the truth sits in the fields, chewing. A bull, a ewe, a goat and the farmers nobody thanks keep this nation fed and its hills alive. The Ruminati run the country. They always have, and never bothered with a press release.
Eat well, train hard, mind the land, and come back tomorrow. Pull up a chair at the gate. Gerald will not mind.
🚨HUGE UPDATE🚨

His sister, Nadjedzha Belova also pleaded guilty to the assault on the 13 Year old girl
@JeevunSandher You are not appalled. You are an MP scoring political points, playing a race/religion card, and weaponising Mark and Henry Nowak against your political opponents. The fact you are Sikh has no relevance to anything. You should be ashamed of yourself.
@Keir_Starmer Starmer doesn't feel rage. He doesn't feel anger. He doesn't feel mildly cross. He feels nothing. He does a sad face 🫤 delivers a trite cliche about lessons learned and moves on to political point-scoring. It's not his son, so.
We cannot continue with this automaton as PM.
Good point by @ReasonedUK. The Southampton person who took the initial call about #HenryNowak was told Henry would need medical help
This person ignored the info, did NOT call an ambulance, just sent police instead
They need to be sacked along with the PCs
https://t.co/Z8tLwO4AGm
There is no point trying to discipline, retrain or re-educate any of those PCs. They are not what police officers are supposed to be. Sack them. Get rid. Be done with them. And the same for their trainers. Start afresh. The nation is sick of this.
This is f*cking disgusting. They are all f*cking standing there while he is telling them he's been stabbed and he can't breathe.
Henry then dies in handcuffs.
Every single one of those police officers should be f*cking sacked.
