🐾🤎🇵🇸 In Gaza, where survival itself has become a daily struggle, there are innocent souls waiting silently for a helping hand. These dogs do not understand why hunger follows them every day. They do not know the meaning of war or siege, yet they feel pain, thirst, fear, and loneliness just like any living being. Every day, I do my best to provide them with food, clean water, and care, but their needs are growing while support continues to decline. What may seem like a simple meal to us can mean another day of life for a hungry dog. 🫂💚🙏My wonderful friends, I wish you all the best and a happy day.. Today my son and I visited al-Shifa hospital to complete a check-up for his arm, and the doctor told us that he needs more time for his arm to heal. I am happy to tell you that he said that Salem's arm is healing well and he is feeling no pain now, and we will return soon to have another check up, God willing. I have some wonderful news to share, my dear friends, there are more kittens in our shelter! Yesterday we found this wonderful cat with her group of four kittens, and we brought them into the shelter. She was living in the rubble of a house that was destroyed near the start of the war, at the same time as our shelter was first destroyed. It felt like a wonderful sign from God that these kittens were brought to us from this rubble, my dear friends.. We are very happy and pleased to have these wonderful creatures brought into our life.. The night was difficult of course, but we have enjoyed a calm moment with the animals and when we visited our friend Hisham with the dogs again. The summer is very hot now, and I am putting water out for the animals, but the insects are overwhelming everything and everyone. I am constantly thinking about our friends in the camp, and how difficult it will be for them. My dear friends, we gave them their monthly payments from your donations, and in a week or two we will bring them to the store like we often do. There they will be able to buy whatever they need with your help, my dear ones. I hope that you will be able to help them, and I hope that you will not give up on us even though this has gone on for so long.. 💔🐾 Another difficult day for the dogs of Gaza. Yesterday, we shared their story and asked for help. Since then, we have received only one donation of $15. We are deeply grateful for every act of kindness, but sadly, $15 is not enough to cover even a single day's food for the 20+ hungry dogs who depend on us. Every morning, they gather and wait. They trust that food and clean water will come. They have already lost so much because of the war, and I cannot bear to see them suffer from hunger as well. 🫂🙏💚It is the second day of Eid al-Adha, my dear friends, and our days are very busy and filled with gatherings and our nights are spent praying for safety from the danger around us. It was a terrible and dangerous night, but I managed to sleep from dawn through the morning, and I feel much better now energetically for it.. Your words for us were beautiful and comforting, and I read them to my family who were very happy too.. I am happy to tell you that we sent some money to the camp and to some others who were in terrible need yesterday, my dear ones, and we sent it through the banking app to help them immediately. It's been very hot recently, and life in the tents has been more difficult than usual, so I'm very glad to have something to be able to give to them on Eid. Insects are bothering everyone, the animals too, and I worry that they are going to spread even more disease and sickness than there already is, and there's so little aid available. I was grateful that we were able to get medication for my son yesterday, even though it was very expensive, it was a relief that it was available to us.. The cost of survival is one of the biggest risk to our lives, my dear friends, so I hope that you might be able to help the wonderful people of 🇵🇸🕊💔#Gaza out and help our beautiful 🐾#animals too.. Your continued support and faith in me gives me strength more than I can describe, and you have kept so many of us safe and alive from starvation or disease or any other cruel condition. This so called 'post war' life is more difficult than I ever could have imagined, and the violence is very quickly increasing against all of us here, but I have hope in all of you to help us get through. 🌿🫂💚I am happy to say that it was finally a little bit quieter last night, my dear friends, and I slept through the night after sleeping through much of the day already.. Once we fed the cats in the evening, we were talking about our situation and how much we want to travel to Egypt. I had hoped in my heart we would have heard something from the travel company by now, but I know it's always difficult as the situation constantly changes, and we continue to hold on to hope that it could happen for us at any time.. Things here are difficult, but I am trying to keep our spirits high as we look forward to the upcoming holiday and I'm trying to give my children some good memories to try and replace the many bad ones.. I am so thankful to have the wonderful comfort that our animals bring, and the happiness and laughter that our wonderful kitten Susu brings to our home. These animals don't expect anything other than a gentle hand and a meal to keep them full, and they will give us back their unconditional love and trust. We are lucky to have them, my dear friends, I am very thankful for your support for our animals. I am still very worried about our friends in the camp, they badly need our help and donations have dropped back down again. It's not long until Eid, my dear friends, it would be wonderful to help them out and give them some money to have a happy and joyful time. I hope you will be able to do this for us, so that people are not hungry or without their medication and they can have a happy time. I know you do your best, and I'm very grateful for your support recently.
