@theAliceRoberts Because no other country can do all the pomp and ceremony like the English - trumpets, drums, lovely horses, colourful uniforms, drum majors, shouting orders, impeccable marching, carriages - it’s a great spectacle to see and hear. The royal family don’t have such cushy jobs.
@chefsevenn They seem to be essential for Thanksgiving in the USA, and Christmas dinner in the UK.
My children were each allowed to choose 6 food items they wouldn’t eat. Brussels Sprouts were on the list.
@HowardFeldman Students are so liable to be polarised. Our half orthodox Jewish and half devout Christian families are very happy loving, enjoying and caring for one another.
@Emyspain1 @spectator Would Christians share a house with a Muslim? When fundamental religious groups have alien habits and strict eating restrictions it becomes difficult. Birds of a feather are better together!
@NielStuart@spectator This is skewed information. I’m not a Zionist and I don’t agree with the Israeli government at all. But - what matters most is who lives in an area, and has done so in recent history, not what you call the place.
@Buttguytbh @ick_real Humans haven’t lived peacefully together for all the historical times we know about. It just became out of hand with over population and modern weapons.
