@__Fathm @lesbiaudrey No deus ex machina?! The universe is all magically brought back to life by a god being dragged through the vortex by a Time Machine. That is literally, as well as figuratively, deus ex machina.
@WhovianLeap Sutekh: “I can, if I choose, keep you alive for centuries, wracked with the most excruciating pain…….unless you put a rope around me, of course, as that seems to magically drain me of all power for some inexplicable reason.”
@TheCriticalDri2 Dear Mr Drinker
I am shocked and appalled at your suggestion that being dead prevents a person from having a full and active life. I have been dead for nearly 2000 years and still put in a hard shift every day in my Dad’s business (except Sundays).
Yrs
Mr J. H. Christ.
@wenbbilliams Let’s also acknowledge the fact that an Irish construction worker correctly guessed the Sea Devils’ name. That’s before we even get on to the Ice Warriors and the Silurians. 😂
@FelixFrazer@docoho@Si_Hart Mrs Flood is the Egyptian flood God, Hapi. Father of the Gods (and also sort of mother as well, which could possibly appeal to RTD to use the character - that’s just an observation btw, please don’t kill me 🙈😂), so possibly more powerful than Sutekh.
@apwittmomfeeodw@Tigfore Well…..he is an alien, but:
“Just how powerful is Sutekh, Doctor?”
“He’s all-powerful. If he ever gets free there isn’t a life-form in the galaxy that could stand against him.”
@RTEsport Here, Rónán Dunne had some win in the downhill yesterday in Poland, hadn’t he? A Wicklow lad winning a World Cup for Ireland. Some achievement that, eh? Not that the national broadcaster would report it or anything as second-tier English soccer clearly takes priority.
@pipmadeley She was going to change her name to Amy Adrenalineandsomahouse until she got to Series D and saw them all drinking wine instead, so decided to stick with her original name.
