@Inki_FairyTales@realCdrShepard@DuxieSass@chococinnabon@ZainabSana2622 You're an idiot... Pregnancy tests are about your life & will. You can be pregnant without knowing... And if you were pregnant certain things they do could harm either you or the baby. Doctors owe you no trust unfortunately for such a high stakes thing
@bugscotti@corn_cyber@galindapetal@RobertDeGiorno1 It's funny how this is only an excuse when it comes to cannabis, and not other drugs & alcohol. plenty of studies have been done to show that is not a significant issue.
@bugscotti@corn_cyber@galindapetal@RobertDeGiorno1 You have yet to send a solid study lol. You've sent one with outdated methodology, and then one that is based on observations only.
https://t.co/rqxobEJycB
https://t.co/VFE5fnFeE6
etc etc. the science is pretty clear that it's associated with an increased risk of things
@bugscotti@corn_cyber@galindapetal@RobertDeGiorno1 1. the evidence does NOT show that
2. That is an insane jump...
Yes I hear myself, besides the fact its extremely hard for regular cannabis users to stop, it's not like the effects instantly go away, and with psychosis the multiple risk factors can stack overtime.
@bugscotti@corn_cyber@galindapetal@RobertDeGiorno1 That is not what the study says? It says the decrease is in cannabis-related events among patients who ALREADY have schizophrenia. not only is that not causation, but there could be a number of factors, namely (And the proposed one) safety post-legalization
@bugscotti@corn_cyber@galindapetal@RobertDeGiorno1 "In order to prevent just one case of psychosis, ..."
1. you've shifted your initial claim of "genetic predispositon" (there are large variety of factors in a persons life that can contribute)
2. that # does not include people who stop but get it later (andit contributed)
@bugscotti@corn_cyber@galindapetal@RobertDeGiorno1 the article you linked literally says its based on outdated perceptions of potency, and needs to be updated. (also preventing a case by having 20,000 people stop does NOT = 1/20,000 will get it) everything I said (read carefully) is proven science
@bugscotti@corn_cyber@galindapetal@RobertDeGiorno1 where are you even pulling this number from lol. not only is that not true, there are multiple large scale studies & meta analyses that show cannabis use increases your risk of psychotic symptoms, schizophrenia, and more. And it increases with dose + time. This is proven science
@Kierryk345 for the other animals safety. the reason why you're asked to stay away from wild animals isn't just for your safety, but also theirs. you could potentially introduce pathogens that they aren't equipped to handle. animals have been euthanized because of that in the past.
@mahxism@Nature_Boy03@ImNotOwned In FL they actually have a "rule" that if you choose to go to a school under that program, that busses MUST come to you. Your nearest bus stop will be at most ~half a mile. Leads to a lot of shortages of bus drivers, and for some people overcrowded buses as they combine routes
@mahxism@Nature_Boy03@ImNotOwned Yeah that's already a thing in FL, and while it somewhat works out in the end, because more people than you'd think don't choose, it still leads to clearly favored/rich public schools
@ilfrogs9@girlneeder@wifemtrl It's about who can reclaim the slur, obviously the n word shouldn't be used by people who previously were throwing it around as a slur... It's reclaimed by its target
@JamieWHB@6spicy6satan6@thehelenmary Is this not a disingenuous reading? They're talking about lesbians, who obviously experience attraction to women / nb folk. It's just a longer (and transphobic obv) way of saying "nmlnm" (non men loving non men).
