It's Territory Day in the NT today, which means anyone & everyone can let off fireworks. It's meant to only be 6-9pm, but in reality it has already started. A day of dog, bird, bat, & people trauma.

One thing I did not expect from my mother's death is that I would come to dread the month of April. That, & various apps wanting to remind me of it daily. I miss her deeply. I doubt the years will lessen the sting of loss.
