3 NEW Neon Eagle Video Blu-ray titles available for pre-order NOW at both https://t.co/u87YhL8RzI and https://t.co/bm2b8dENDj!

Neon Eagle Video returns with its biggest and most explosive set of releases yet! All of them making their worldwide Blu-ray debuts!

DIAMOND NINJA FORCE / DEMON’S APARTMENT – The next in our line of deluxe editions of restorations from the IFD catalog is Richard Harrison ninja cut-and-paste mind-melter, a sort-of sequel to the infamous NINJA TERMINATOR! Also included in this set is its truly wild ‘source film’ DEMON’S APARTMENT, a sleazy and strange ghost flick from mid-80s Taiwan.

GO FOR BROKE - next up is another rescue from VHS-only hell, a boisterous pop-action extravaganza from Japan in the 1980s! This one pits high school nerds and their tough girl bodyguards against a crew of motorcycle miscreants! GO FOR BROKE is a total blast from start to finish, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring back out of obscurity in a new 2K restoration.

A TRUE STORY OF THE PRIVATE GINZA POLICE – And finally, we bring you the latest in our line of excavations from the famous Toei studio in Japan, and our first yakuza eiga! And this one is a doozy, a scorching portrait of survival and betrayal in an almost apocalyptic post-war Japan. Quite simply one of the best and most insane films of this particular genre.

All three come in exclusive limited editions available only from the Cauldron Films website and DiabolikDVD, either separately and together in a specially-priced bundle deal for a limited time.

Additionally, there is a sale on the entire NEV back catalog! As well as a brand-new t-shirt and as a wonderful surprise - the return of THE UNINVITED GUEST OF THE STAR FERRY, previously only available as part of the deluxe NINJA TERMINATOR limited edition! We’re only doing 1000 of these and then they’ll be gone forever.

Thanks for your support!!

***New Announcement#1! ***

Up for pre-order now at https://t.co/SOX1QIDunJ (and up later at https://t.co/4t6MnYjfXo when the site is fully operational again)!

A TRUE STORY OF THE PRIVATE GINZA POLICE (Japan, 1973)

Following Japan’s defeat in WW2, a group of restless former soldiers (Toei yakuza eiga veterans Noburu Ando, Tatsuo Umemiya, Hideo Murota, and Tsunehiko Watase) band together to form a criminal gang in bombed out Tokyo out of sheer desperation, anger, and boredom. Once on top of the yakuza scene in the lawless Ginza district, things quickly fall apart and the former partners begin to turn on each other, leading to an explosive bloodbath finale and the utter degradation of any survivors.

A TRUE STORY OF THE PRIVATE GINZA POLICE, directed by genre chameleon Junya Sato, is the nihilistic pinnacle of the jitsuroku or ‘true account’ style of yakuza films from the early to mid-1970s - A wild tumult of blood, drugs, guns, and a shocking disregard for general human decency, captured with a constantly moving handheld camera and scored with a dissonant, improvised jazz-skronk soundtrack.

This Neon Eagle Video Blu-ray release marks the US home video premiere and the worldwide disc debut of this undercelebrated classic of the Japanese gangster genre, taken from a 2K restoration straight from the vaults of Toei studio.

***New Announcement#3!***

Up for pre-order now at https://t.co/SOX1QIDunJ (and up later at https://t.co/4t6MnYjfXo when the site is fully operational again)!

DIAMOND NINJA FORCE (Hong Kong, 1985)
DEMON'S APARTMENT (Taiwan, 1985)

DIAMOND NINJA FORCE is maybe the wildest of all the films directed by Godfrey Ho for IFD. Taking footage from three different shoots with Richard Harrison and combining it with a sleazy Taiwanese horror film called DEMON’S APARTMENT (also included in this release), Ho and company have created one of the strangest ninja films ever made.

Neon Eagle Video has restored both films from their original negatives / best available film elements straight from the IFD vaults, and they are presented here in HD for the first time ever, along with a host of exclusive extras.

DIAMOND NINJA FORCE

In more or less a direct sequel to NINJA TERMINATOR, DIAMOND NINJA FORCE finds Richard Harrison battling more bad guys with swords, magic, explosions, and mustaches. His foes, the Black Ninja Clan, are trying to force a real estate heiress to sell her land so they can reclaim the bodies of their ancestors. To help persuade her, they send in the Ghost Ninja, a horny specter who never does anything remotely ninja-like but does get involved in the heiress’ sex life with her husband. Meanwhile, the Black Ninja Clan murders Richard Harrison’s wife for no reason. And you know what that means – REVENGE!

Neon Eagle Video has spared no expense in order to restore this brain-damaging classic of ‘cut and paste’ action cinema from its original negative and presents it proudly in this deluxe package.

DEMON’S APARTMENT

A corrupt real estate baron covers up (literally) the fact that his latest housing project is built over a mass unmarked grave, which comes back to haunt (also literally) the family that moves into one of the bungalows. Mom starts seeing ghosts and freaking out almost immediately upon arriving, while Dad is convinced she’s “just seeing things” and tries to calm her down by having sex with her (which actually seems to work). Meanwhile their empty-headed son is caught between a kindly Granny ghost and a skeevy specter that is anxious to drink his blood, unaware that the kid has hepatitis (?!?).

But the real trouble starts when the troubled spirit of a young lady gets all worked up by the sexy-times between perpetually nervous Mom and perpetually horny Dad, and decides to get in on the action, initiating a nasty possession that doesn’t end well for anyone.

DEMON’S APARTMENT (a.k.a. GHOST RAPIST, a title we’re not using for obvious reasons) is a sleazed-up POLTERGEIST riff from mid-80s Taiwan that was used as the ‘source film’ for the IFD produced Godfrey Ho joint DIAMOND NINJA FORCE, also featured in this set. The film hits you with an almost constant barrage of insanity, with severed heads in laundry baskets, puking ghosts, gambling addict ghosts, erotic home abortions, cowardly exorcists, and much more.

Neon Eagle Video is totally psyched to present this Asian horror oddity on US home video for the first time ever, from an exclusive new 4K restoration.

***SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT!***

The return of THE UNINVITED GUEST OF THE STAR FERRY (South Korea, 1984)!

Once relegated to the bonus disc on our limited edition of NINJA TERMINATOR, this wayward bit of martial arts weirdness is back in print! Only 1000 copies are being made, and then it will be OOP forever.

In a plot that borrows from the Bruce Lee classic WAY OF THE DRAGON, UNINVITED GUEST OF THE STAR FERRY stars Im Ja-ho as a rogue-with-a-heart-of-gold out to protect Korean immigrant restauranteurs in Hong Kong from being forced out of business by triad gangsters. Legendary Korean martial artist Hwang Jang-lee plays his nemesis, the boss of the triad, wearing a long blond wig for no apparent reason.

Unseen outside of Korea (and maybe Hong Kong and Taiwan) for nearly 40 years, UNINVITED GUEST is mostly (in)famous for being the “source film” for the IFD cut and past action classic NINJA TERMINATOR. Neon Eagle Video is proud to give this film its North American premiere in this limited-edition Blu-ray, taken from the only film element we could source – a battered 16mm print provided to us by IFD Film and Arts, LTD.
