@drdagly Stigma is such a huge part of it. And I think if people only understood that drugs on the street level are not a “lifestyle of choice” then maybe we md have more of a chance to help put better measures in place.

@studiojude Even fewer boots in the ground for day to day in the city. Add in all the extra holidays that are being promised and your force is under manned constantly. The SPS will also have to purchase the same resources and equipment that the RCMP already have at their disposal currently

@studiojude Just a thought here… multiple police agencies in a geographic area are not prone to share their information amongst each other. Crime knows no boundaries. I’m not sure that SPS would be any more effective. They will still have to contribute to combined units and that means 1/2

@CanadianKayMD I miss our Basil when I see her. We lost him far too young to cancer. Oddly enough she and CoCo were friends. They are both over the rainbow bridge now.
