The @BelfastPcsp & @belfastcc are holding a ‘Seniors’ Safety Event’ & Tea Dance in Girdwood Community Hub on Thursday 17th October at 1:30pm – 4pm for residents of North Belfast. This is a free event.
Phil Simpson @buzzardbushcraft & his daughter Lisa led a superb forage walk in #Cavehill wood. They showed us a range of plants & described their medicinal & culinary uses. We then treated us to elderflower champagne, compote of wild fruits, nettle soup & flour/nettle biscuits.
8 volunteers from @WSP UK, an engineering consortium joined us today for a litter lift. We gave them a guided tour of the woods and they lifted 8 large bags of rubbish from deep among the trees. A great day's work from a lovely, lively bunch. Thanks, guys!
