@stdulmage I will also be using Scholastic weekly reader for a technology tool for my students. We will do a variety of tasks together, such as reading script, discussing the environment, and learning about classroom rules and appropriate social interactions. #el6100pln

@stdulmage Hello Alyssa, Seesaw sounds like a great tool. I have been telling my grandchildren, age 9-10, that i is never too early to start a digital portfolio. As it applies to my ECSE students, I will have consider whether it would be beneficial at their age.#el6100pln

@stdulmage Q 1. A. Connect 4 Learning has an online portal support that will allow my students to interact with one another and assess their own learning by looking to see if they have reached a goal. It will also allow me to assess and monitor the students’ progress. #el6100pln

@alysandov @stdulmage A1. I agree, I have been talking to my team about teaching PL activities with the same high quality classroom pedagogy that we use to meet student needs. However, they look at me as if I am speaking a foreign language. #el6100pln

@stdulmage A1. The research confirms what I have believed about the lack of priority placed on professional learning in our school. Most of our PL time is decided on just prior to the PD day or it is a planned sit & get PL session based on hours with little teacher ownership. #el6100pln
