It’s not throwing the hardest.

Or having the most HB on the sweeper.

The day after people hail and gather to witness the pinnacle of competition, this felt like an important message to share

Especially with a lot of players starting their seasons this week.

Don’t mistake this for me saying that trying to better yourself physically, improve specific things about your game or develop as an individual are bad.

They most certainly are not.

(I literally have an offer where I give guys individual development plans lol)

But that needs to be separate from the game itself.

When the game comes around, that’s your time to enjoy the hell out of competing with your teammates.

Your freaking boys. The guys you PUT IN all that work with.

Just focus on winning.

Winning fixes everything.

I promise you.

Focus on that. Nothing else.
