Welcome. And congratulations. I am delighted that you could make it. Getting here wasn't easy, I know. In fact, I suspect it was a little tougher than you realize.
To begin with, for you to be here now trillions of drifting atoms had somehow to assemble in an intricate and intriguingly obliging manner to create you. It's an arrangement so specialized and particular that it has never been tried before and will only exist this once.
For the next many years (we hope) these tiny particles will uncomplainingly engage in all the billions of deft, cooperative efforts necessary to keep you intact and let you experience the supremely agreeable but generally under appreciated state known as existence.

I feel bad for anyone who cannot use @bot at work and in life. So many people are actively choosing to ignore AI, yet it is so obvious that those who implement it will move so much faster.
In the last couple of weeks, we’ve onboarded team members who never thought they would understand / use AI effectively into @bot, and now it’s part of their daily routine.
After trying most AI agent interfaces, nothing compares to Grok Bot’s ease of use. It’s a game changer that makes automation a no-brainer and teaches you so much in the process.
Team Grok Bots are insanely powerful. You can basically create any custom tool or workflow and have your entire org able to take advantage of it in minutes. Possibilities are endless.
Only President Trump could convene all the leaders of the top companies developing chips, data centers and frontier models for Super Intelligence. This new Industrial Revolution has already created a million new jobs and is spurring a bigger infrastructure build-out than the railroads, canals and grid combined. I was honored to witness history as the leaders of the frontier lab companies signed the White House Accord on Super Intelligence, accepting responsibility for the safe development of their products and imposing new internal controls and external audits. This is far better than waiting years for some international agreement that would probably never happen. President Trump continues to ensure that U.S. remains the technology leader while putting Americans first.
when I was a kid this was science fiction. i've watched AI type for years, but hearing it and seeing what it made is a whole different level.
i asked @claudeai opus 5.5 to introduce itself, however it wanted without any token usage restrictions and access to any api it wanted. it decided to write a song, make a video, visualize itself and give an interview behind the music.

Amazing recap of where we are from an AI perspective—from breaking down the math of the Navier-Stokes equations, to the OpenAI claim and controversy, to a summary of the last month or so in AI. It’s long but well worth it.
“We are allowing the conversation to be distilled into these very rudimentary positions that do not allow us to truly appreciate the complexity of the environment we are in.” Spot on.
This is both the most exciting and potentially terrifying outcome, and both of those realities can be true at the same time. This is certainly not a linear equation.
Great job @FFPPod

Grok bot is so incredibly useful and powerful! Going through and automating so many of my tasks, creating teams and managing it all from my phone! It’s a pretty wild multiplier and enabler!
Great job @bot team!
It took multiple human groups decades to work out CRISPR’s full function, from observations in the early 1980s to the gene-editing tool perfected by the @DoudnaJennifer and @e__charpentier teams and used worldwide today, about 25 years.
Claude’s agents found a similar mechanism in 21 hours of compute. Function still unknown, nonetheless, we are entering a golden age for biotech, medicine, and humanity.
Good book on CRISPR discovery: The Code Breaker by @WalterIsaacson
Claude has discovered a previously unknown enzyme system hidden in the DNA of bacteriophages. Beside the enzyme’s gene sits a long array of repeating DNA—a structure that looks somewhat similar to CRISPR.
We don’t yet understand what this system does, but only a handful of known systems share its features, and all of them are able to cut, copy, and paste DNA. Historically, the discovery of such programmable systems has helped revolutionize medicine. CRISPR, for instance, is now the foundation of genetic medicines. But it will take much more work to learn what this system does, and whether it can be put to similar use.

Saturday was a good day for Boca Chica Beach.
985 volunteers came out for International Coastal Cleanup Day and removed 2,880 lbs of trash from our shoreline.
Thank you to @SpaceX, @TXAdoptABeach, and Cameron County, and to every friend, family member, and neighbor who came out to volunteer.
This is what community looks like. See you at the next one!
Through the VOICE trial, Terry is using his Neuralink implant to help fine-tune a brain-to-voice interface for himself and others who can’t speak. He trained the algorithm first by miming speech as best he could, then by simply thinking the words and hearing them come out in his own natural voice.
