We nudged totals upward today with additional moisture in the data. Otherwise, our forecast remains unchanged.
Snow will be the biggest factor of this storm. Unlike nor’easters, power outages and coastal flooding will be isolated and minor.
#Breaking: MA Gov. Maura Healey declares Monday a remote-work day for non-essential state employees, urges private companies to do the same. Asks everybody to stay off the roads on Sunday as snow arrives. Widespread 15-20” of snow expected with some spots up to 2 feet.

#Breaking: US Atty Leah Foley officially links Brown University shooting suspect Claudio Valente, 48, to the murder or MIT professor Nuno Loureiro. Says Valente died of self-inflicted gunshot wound at storage facility in Salem, NH. Was found when search warrant served. @boston25

@boston25 Both men also studied physics. Loureiro was a renowned scientist. They were around the same age, as well. Valente had studied at Brown, but withdrew in 2003.
Tuesday Winter Storm Update —
Still the same thinking: Mild air and heavy, wet snow will limit totals. This is an impactful storm, but mainly for the interior.
Tuesday evening's commute will be very difficult north & west of the city and slow all around. Travel with caution.
