But my perspective as orthodox tells me she suffered from prelest, having "visions" that told her that her suffering will make her a saint. She was vulnerable to demonic possession.
@pureMetatron If they existed and God created them, then they are the same as any beast/animal according to Christian theology. There would be considerable tension otherwise regarding the Incarnation of the Logos. Jesus took on human nature, not generic sentient nature.
