@JosephPattonWx The local broadcast industry is no longer about striving for quality and driving ratings. It’s about profit and bonuses at the expense of quality. Those in the news room still strive for quality, but with resources being removed, so many are fed up & leaving the business.
@EpiEllie I was hospitalized with stroke like symptoms in July. Ruled out stroke, but clearly something neurological. They referred me to the first available neurologist. My appt isn’t until next October (15 month wait). I’ve since driven several hours away to see one in a different city.
@nobody_ My college roommate and I did that when we went to her parents’ one weekend and decided to cook dinner and neither of us knew the difference. I labored over chopping I don’t know how many heads of garlic. Her parents commented “ this is very garlicky!” We thought it was fine!
@Dragonenergy123@stevecstny @DoctorHenryCT I live in a Red state in an area of 1 million people. Had scary symptoms in early July. ER & GP think could be stroke, seizures, MS.
Time matters. 1st available neuro appt in area was Oct 2025. Found appt w/ doctor hours away in area w/ over 2 mil for mid-Dec. 5 months out.
@Acyn TN GOP literally redrew district borders around a sitting democrat state rep’s house. She sold her house & moved down the street. Nashville was a blue district, so they split it into several pieces, pairing each with large swaths of rural Repub areas, so Dems would be minority.
@Mar50cC5O @BernieSanders I live in a metro area of the US with just under 1 million residents. I need to see a neurologist, but the wait time is 15 months, even with serious symptoms. Instead I’ll be going to one several hours away in an area with 2 million resident, but the wait was still 5 months.
@MichaelMindrum Lipedema is an example. Looks like “obesity” but isn’t. It’s a genetic hormonally driven connective tissue disease which causes fat to become diseased-fibrotic, swollen & resistant to diet or exercise. It can lead to lymphedema & systemic dysregulaton. Surgery is often required.
@MarshaBlackburn This is ridiculous! As one of your reluctant constituents in TN, this isn’t anywhere close to being true in this area. Enough with the fearmongering.
@FreshUpdates it would be awesome if your salad kits would provide nutrition information for the veggies and dressing separately. Lots of us track what we eat and don’t use the dressing. Google it. Dozens of Reddit threads griping about it.
@VoteMarsha I’m certainly not calling you tough, and this ridiculous ad isn’t improving the adjective I have in mind. I happily voted for @VoteGloriaJ on Monday.
