@bravobybetches I don't know how I know this but I think I heard it once referred to as a "speed bump." A self-contained scene in the middle of a commercial break meant to discourage fast-forwarding in the DVR era. No longer needed now that most watch the show on Peacock anyway.

#TheTraitorsUS S4 lost momentum in ep 8 and never recovered. This was the earliest fall off of any US #TheTraitors yet. Future seasons may be better but the gimmick of celeb linkups is waning. If the game design won't improve, casting has to OVERcompensate to fight the inevitable
