@citynewscalgary High collision locations like this are preventable with proper engineering and enforcement.
The public service caused this problem.
It’s time to have a serious discussion
@CTVCalgary “their social media postings are having less impact than they used to”
Maybe because too much talk and not enough action.
Canadian police need to stop with the PR and media stunts and get the boots on the ground.
@citynewscalgary The government of Alberta and it’s media machine (global, CTV ) are too busy pushing the fake narrative of the BS $100 payout then actually seeking accountability. No integrity.
@citynewscalgary Yet just over 24 hours ago in Calgary there was serious incident at Braeaide school.
The public needs information, not copy and paste dribble.
Release the description.
Let’s go media. Stand up for the community.
Are the children of Calgary safe?
Is there a threat?
@CTVCalgary Despite the City investing millions of dollars into safety initiatives over the past few years, we have yet to see meaningful impacts from that spending
So true, but the city council wants Police to become social workers.
"Safer Together" needs to be stopped.
The media is silent
@CTVCalgary This will in no way benefit the community.
Just like NATO - Strength through force.
Active enforcement not social work.
We already have a public education and public welfare system.
Now we don't have a police service.
Good job city council.
