When you start to miss me, stand on what you did. Don’t come looking for me because the loneliness finally caught up with you. Don’t reach out because you suddenly remember how I loved you, how I showed up or how good you had it. You made your choice when I was still there. So when you miss me later, sit with that feeling. Remember exactly what you did to make me leave. You wanted a life without me. So when you start missing me, stand on that decision and dwell in the misery of knowing you lost someone who would’ve stayed.
I have never faked my love for a single soul. When I love someone, I mean it. When I care, I care deeply. I show up, I give chances, I make excuses and I genuinely want the people I love to be okay. That’s why betrayal hits me so differently. I could never do to someone what they did to me. I know how seriously I take someone’s trust because I never gave mine with fake intentions. I take betrayal personally because my love was never fake. I showed up with a genuine heart, so being hurt by someone I trusted feels like they didn’t just break my trust, they disrespected something I gave them sincerely.
Some people don’t have loyalty, they have attachments to benefits. As long as you’re useful, they’re solid. The moment you stop doing something for them, watch how fast that “loyalty” turns into distance.
Someone's cold era started with someone else taking their sweetness for weakness. When a good person finally gets tired, they don't yell. They just quietly disappear.
Some of yall need to realize that yall are USERS. Yall don’t know how to be good friends, good partners, or good family members because you’re always looking for what you can get out of people. Yall take advantage of people’s kindness, love, resources, support, connections, etc.. instead of genuinely showing up for them!
One thing I genuinely cannot stand is an inconsiderate person. How do you move through life without thinking about how your words and actions affect someone else? It really isn’t that difficult to pause, think and consider the impact you might have on another person. Being considerate costs you nothing. Just think before you act.
Don’t destroy someone who once helped you just because circumstances have changed.
If they are no longer beneficial to you, step away with respect.
Honour the days they stood by you, encouraged you, supported you and believed in you.
True character is shown by how you treat people after you no longer depend on them.
The older you get, the more you realize friendship isn’t built on constant conversation or perfect timing.
It’s built on presence.
The people who answer the call, check in when you’re quiet, celebrate your wins, and stand beside you when life gets heavy.
Showing up is a love language. ❤️
If I decide to remove you from my life over something that seems small, understand that it was never just about that one thing. That moment was simply the final straw. Sometimes it’s not about what you did—it’s about how exhausted I’ve become from dealing with the same patterns.
The fastest way to detach isn’t fighting for attention.
It’s letting people have full freedom… and finally believing them.
No chasing. No fixing. No explaining. Just space.
And in that space, people reveal exactly where you stand in their priorities. Not through words. Through choices.
You deserve a love that feels the way you love. Not a love that leaves you guessing, waiting, or questioning your worth. A love that is honest, consistent, and intentional.
Stop being so considerate in situations where you are not considered. Kindness is a gift, not an obligation. You'll be drained if you keep pouring into people who don't reciprocate. Protect your spirit and well-being. Redirect your warmth toward those who reflect it back to you.
It's selfish to enter someone's life, see that they're a loving, cheerful, and good person, and decide to ruin their present because you haven't dealt with your own issues. Leave people alone if you have no intention of showing up with sincerity.
If I rock with you I accept everything that comes with you...Just don't lie to me. I can deal with flaws, mistakes, and real situations, but once you start lying to me you change everything and how I view you!
I don’t like people who act solid and genuine but move weird behind closed doors, smiling in public and lying and manipulating in private. Selling a clean image to the world while being horrible for real, rewriting stories, playing victim, gaslighting like it’s normal..
