It's national Youth Work Week with the theme youth work in every place and space. We've been working hard on what we can offer the young people of #Podsmead so we'll be sharing more of that this week, and we're always open to ideas 🙂

We had a lovely Over 55's meal at Badgervale in Podsmead yesterday, big thank you to everyone who joined us and all of the volunteers that helped make it happen. Next one planned for 29th November. Email at [email protected] to register interest.

Unfortunately our boiler is still broken which means Weigh and Go at the Podsmead Hub is cancelled for today. Good news is the part has arrived and just waiting to be fitted, so we should be back to normal soon!

We had a great turn out at Weigh and Go yesterday at the #Podsmead Hub, with residents making the most of the chance to talk to the Healthy Lifestyles #Gloucestershire team about their #health questions and goals. It's back again next Monday, just drop in between 1-2.30pm.

The Scott Avenue green is looking a lot tidier today after some #litter picking by a local resident and the lovely Wanja from our Blackbridge team. But we need more help! Come and join us every Monday from 10am to 12.30pm, starting at the #Podsmead Hub.

Starting tomorrow we're running a free 'Mend and Repair' group for local residents at the #Podsmead Hub, 2-4pm, running for the next 12 weeks. Learn how to salvage those items you love, rather than always having to buy new🧵
