Just being in the presence of ROYALTY and witnessing the AURA of His Majesty is a great story I will live to tell GENERATIONS that will come after me !!!

MAMA WA TAIFA...🇹🇿❤️

Yesterday evening , I once again had the PROFOUND pleasure of paying a COURTESY VISIT on H.E. DR. SAMIA SULUHU HASSAN, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, at STATE HOUSE, DAR ES SALAAM 🇹🇿. As always, I was accorded a warm and GRACIOUS reception and later hosted to DINNER in a manner befitting the renowned Tanzanian spirit wa UNYENYEKEVU na UPENDO. Beyond the prestigious office she occupies, MAMA SAMIA has a remarkable combination of a TOUGH COMMAND which is blended with a MOTHER’S LOVE.

Each time I visit Tanzania, there is always some SPECTACULAR socio-economic transformation happening. From the shores of LAKE TANGANYIKA to the majestic slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, one does not need a rocket-scientist to see the REMARKABLE development in this Country. Roads are being MODERNIZED, railway systems ARE BEING EXPANDED as evidenced by the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) expansion, electricity access is reaching RURAL communities, while CLEAN water is now the STANDARD quality of life for ordinary citizens. It is often said that what a man can do, A WOMAN CAN DO BETTER, and Her Excellency continues to demonstrate precisely why that saying remains TRUE. This is a woman of DISTINCTION and EXCELLENCE, who leads from the front, sets exceptionally high standards and inspires CONFIDENCE within Tanzania and the African continent at large !!!

This particular visit came at a MOST EXCITING moment, as I finally move to fulfil a long-held vision of expanding investments within the Eastern African region, particularly within the TOURISM, HOSPITALITY and RENEWABLE ENERGY sectors. I took the opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to Her Excellency for the immense opportunities that exist within Tanzania and to share aspects of the INVESTMENTS which the Intratrek Holdings Group intends to now make. Among these, is the imminent development of a US$200 MILLION DOLLAR world-class hospitality investment in the SERENGETI and NGORONGORO , which will bring new levels of LUXURY TOURISM and global capital to TANZANIA and the East African Region. Last Saturday was undoubtedly one of the most EMOTIONAL and MEMORABLE days of my life. Never in my WILDEST imagination did I think that I would find myself so OVERWHELMED with emotion simply by walking my baby sister, down the AISLE. What made the moment so emotional for both myself and GLENDOUR was the PAINFUL realization that our late mother was not there to WITNESS what would have been one of her PROUDEST moments of her life. I held back my TEARS knowing Mai NYARI / SISI CANI was definitely smiling on us up above from HEAVEN 🕊️

In our AFRICAN tradition and culture, a wedding is not truly a wedding until people have eaten GOOD FOOD, until their BELLIES are FULL and families have celebrated together DANCING the night away. What I witnessed on Saturday was indeed a WEDDING in every sense of the word. People ate, people celebrated, people laughed and people DANCED until late into the night. The décor was EXCEPTIONAL, the music was OUTSTANDING as we were SERANADED by timeless classics from great musicians such as the legendary KARIKOGA Leonard ZHAKATA and contemporary gospel music from Mathias Mhere. We were entertained by incredible dancers, and had the best MC of all time.

All I can say is THANK YOU, to everyone who made this day a SUCCESS, giving special mention especially to the SERVICE PROVIDERS.

More often than not, service providers are OVERLOOKED and at times UNDERPAID or SHORTCHANGED, as everyone tends to focus only on the Bride and Groom yet they spend months or weeks PLANNING for the wedding and PREPARING the decor etc. They are the first to wake up and some even SLEEP at the venue the night before yet they are the last to leave after CLEANING up the venue. There are certain blessings in life that NO AMOUNT OF WEALTH can purchase and no amount of influence can manufacture. Among those blessings, I count the OPPORTUNITY to be granted audience by ONE of Africa’s most accomplished and visionary leader…H.E. PRESIDENT WILLIAM SAMOEI RUTO. Yesterday, I once again had the pleasure of paying a COURTESY VISIT on this DISTINGUISHED MAN at STATE HOUSE, in WAJIR 🇰🇪 soon after the INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS…KENYA is a place I now call HOME.

The weekend fixture between DEMBARE and MAKIPEKEPE was nothing short of sporting EXCELLENCE at play, and I extend my congratulations to CAPS United for your victory. Football is about COMPETITION and celebrating the BEAUTY of the game !!!

A PASSIONATE Dynamos supporter had requested that in the event DEMBARE wins, I should buy the club a BRAND-NEW BUS. Whilst the result unfortunately did not go their way, I APPRECIATED the overwhelming love shown by the Dynamos supporters. More importantly, most of close relatives and friends are passionate Dynamos supporters, and for me this matter goes beyond football. DYNAMOS is a HOUSEHOLD NAME and part of Zimbabwe’s football history. It is NEXT BEST THING to be formed in 1963, after ZANU PF. I therefore REFUSE to reduce myself into someone who only stands by his word when circumstances are FAVOURABLE.

Accordingly, I say a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the GLAMOUR BOYS !!! I will STILL proceed with purchasing a BRAND-NEW 65 seater BUS for Dynamos Football Club. In addition, I will also give the players USD$50,000 for trying hard as motivation and encouragement despite the defeat. Please note that this is NOT sponsorship of any sort, but just APPRECIATION to supporters who demonstrated and displayed genuine love by filling up stadium. I must say it's actually SURPRISING how outside Zimbabwe, the "BIG" name “CHIVAYO” is received with RESPECT and treated to RED CARPET receptions. As the saying goes, “a PROPHET is not without HONOUR, EXCEPT in his own HOMETOWN. Unfortunately, some people struggle to celebrate one of their own simply because he is successful or WEALTHY. None of that will ever change who I am or the values I stand for. PUT SOME RESPECT ON MY NAME !!! Football must UNITE US and inspire healthy competition rather than hatred and division. At the end of the day, this was never about proving a point to anyone. It was about HONOURING my word and appreciating GENUINE supporters who showed me overwhelming love and respect.

I AM JUST AN INTERESTING PERSON…NOT A “PERSON OF INTEREST” 🤣🤣🤣

Over the past few days, SOCIAL MEDIA has been awash with various ALLEGATIONS, counter-allegations, ASSUMPTIONS and conspiracy theories emanating from the recent private visit by H.E. President Ramaphosa to Zimbabwe. What should ordinarily have been CELEBRATED as a BROTHERLY and COMRADELY engagement between two neighbouring HEADS OF STATE has unfortunately been taken OUT OF CONTEXT by certain overzealous OPPOSITION detractors who appear determined to MANUFACTURE controversy where none exists. Surprisingly, in the court of PUBLIC OPINION, some have INFERRED that I am the so-called “person of interest” vaguely referred to in a STATEMENT surrounding the visit. From my understanding of the remarks made by the Presidency spokesperson, no individual was ever IDENTIFIED BY NAME, and I therefore find it necessary, purely in the PUBLIC INTEREST and for purposes of setting the record straight, to briefly clarify a few issues.
1. For the record, I am a well-established and successfull businessman of UNQUESTIONABLE INTEGRITY, and I am not wanted in connection with ANY criminal offence whether in Zimbabwe, South Africa or any other jurisdiction whatsoever. This is a position which the INTERPOL has even confirmed on several occasions. South Africa is practically my SECOND HOME and coincidentally, as I post this, I am in CAPE TOWN, on holiday with my wife , kids and their friends. I have often in the past and even recently travelled OPENLY AND FREELY through normal IMMIGRATION channels without the slightest difficulty. If I were indeed some “person of interest” as social media PROSECUTORS allege, I would have OBVIOUSLY been detained, questioned, indicted or subjected to some form of official process. None of that has happened, because the REALITY is often less exciting than the FICTION many STUPID people on social media desperately wish to create around the surname “CHIVAYO”….which is not only a SUPERIOR but UNIQUE and blessed SURNAME.
2. My limited understanding of VVIP SECURITY PROTOCOLS is that no individual gets into CLOSE PROXIMITY with any sitting Head of State, let alone forms part of a ANY delegation, without EXTENSIVE security vetting, screening and clearance by the relevant STATE SECURITY institutions. It is therefore quite ASTONISHING that some sections of the public, especially failed OPPOSITION members in both Zimbabwe and South Africa, appear to believe that BUSINESSMEN who were present during the visit simply EMERGED from nowhere. If anything, I was DEEPLY HONOURED and PRIVILEGED to have been part of the delegation that welcomed President Ramaphosa. I must however urge the South African Twitter detectives and prosecutors to direct this same energy towards denouncing the prevalent XENOPHOBIA ATTACKS , ARMED ROBBERIES and KIDNAPPINGS. South Africa 🇿🇦 is an amazingly beautiful country but RICH PEOPLE have to move around with 15 heavily armed and special forces trained bodyguards in fear for our lives.
3. I have also noticed an APPARENT CONFUSION and unfortunate conflation between myself and my young brother, Joacham Chivayo. The surname “CHIVAYO” is highly recognisable and whether people LIKE IT OR NOT, naturally attracts PUBLIC CURIOSITY and ATTENTION. Everyone associated with it is somehow linked to BIG BUSINESS, SUCCESS or influence in one form or another. Joacham is my little brother, whom I LOVE and hold with the highest RESPECT, and I say this publicly and without any fear of contradiction. However, I cannot meaningfully COMMENT on matters relating to his PRIVATE AFFAIRS or any allegations that may have circulated online regarding his business dealings in South Africa. If there are legal processes involving him anywhere, those matters are PERSONAL to him and have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with me, just as my own PERSONAL AFFAIRS have nothing to do with him. In any event, any accused person is presumed INNOCENT until proven guilty. TO BE CONTINUED...
