As the July 1, 2026 CUSMA/USMCA joint review approaches, CAFTA is reinforcing the importance of a stable, predictable North American trading relationship.

Secretary Howard Lutnick, speaking to Bloomberg Television now, says Trump will make a new tariff announcement this afternoon on Canada and Mexico, and that he may cut the tariff in some sectors, like autos, while keeping the rate at 25% for others.
