Following Russia's attack on #Ukraine two years ago, the EU Foreign Affairs Council decided on October 17 2022 to support the Ukrainian armed forces with the EU military assistance mission EUMAM UA.
To date, around 12.000 men and women of the Ukrainian armed forces have been trained under the responsibility of the ST-C.
We will continue to provide trainings with great intensity and the necessary commitment.

Today the President of the Federal Republic of Germany #Steinmeier visited the military training area in Klietz.
After being welcomed by General @AndreasMarlow , the ST-C commander, he got an insight into the Leopard 1 A5 training for the 🇺🇦 soldiers as well as an insight into the entire traning of 🇺🇦 soldiers. The visit was accompanied by the Minister of Defence #Pistorius and the Ukrainian Ambassador S.E. Makeiev.

The commander of the Special Training Command (ST-C), Lieutenant General @AndreasMarlow , visited the artillery training of 🇺🇦 soldiers in Germany. Since the beginning of #EUMAM 🇩🇪and 🇳🇱 intructors work closely together to provide the best possible training for ukrainian artillerists. In total 24 nations take part in this military assistance mission.
