The West, traumatized by its own history of antisemitism and particularly haunted by the Holocaust, has grown morally sensitive to accusations of racism and oppression.

Islam exploit this sensitivity, using antisemitism itself, repackaged as anti-Zionism, to position themselves as victims.

They invert reality, portraying Jews as colonial oppressors and Muslims as oppressed underdogs, hijacking progressive narratives and deflecting legitimate criticism of Islamic violence, misogyny, and intolerance.

By maintaining Palestinians as permanent victims, Muslims gain moral leverage over guilt-ridden Western societies.

Thus, antisemitism, carefully camouflaged as "justice for Palestine", becomes the Trojan horse through which Islam infiltrates academia, media, politics, and culture, eroding Western freedoms from within.

The Book I Wish I Never Had to Write

After I watched what ISIS did to Yazidis and Christians in Iraq, I kept hearing the same phrase repeated across news channels:

“This has nothing to do with Islam.”

I was frustrated and appalled. How could anyone seriously discuss ISIS while refusing to examine the ideology and theology ISIS itself invoked to justify its actions?

That was when I decided to write a book.

I had spent years studying Islamic theology and Islamist movements, including Al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hizb ut-Tahrir, and others. I felt I had a responsibility to document what I knew and expose an ideology that has destroyed countless lives. If that work could save even one person from being consumed by this ideology, it was worth doing.

For two years, I immersed myself in ISIS material. I followed its leadership, watched its speeches and propaganda, studied its magazines, pamphlets, official releases, and media operations, and examined the theological arguments it used to justify violence. Some of the material was extraordinarily difficult to watch and read, but I wanted the book to be based on primary sources, not slogans or political talking points.

The result was a dense, 582-page study of the ideological and theological roots of Islamic terrorism.

And this was before AI. The Arabic edition alone took me two years. Producing and editing the English edition took another three.

The book was self-published, so it never received the attention of major media outlets. But I stand behind the research in it.

And unfortunately, this book is as necessary today as it was when I wrote it. ISIS may no longer dominate the headlines as it once did, but the ideology did not disappear. And the same nonsense continues: every time terrorism is committed in the name of Islam, we are immediately told that it has absolutely “nothing to do with Islam,” often before anyone has even examined the perpetrator’s beliefs, motives, or sources.

We cannot defeat an ideology we refuse even to name, examine, or understand.

If you want to understand the ideology behind jihadist terrorism, its theological arguments, its historical roots, and the texts these organizations themselves rely upon, this is the book I wrote for that purpose.

I didn’t write this book simply to describe terrorism. I wrote it to expose the ideology behind it. Because confronting dangerous ideas begins with having the courage to examine where they actually come from.
