Hitler didn’t start with camps.
He started with:
• Make Germany Great Again
• Banning books
• Attacking the press
• Blaming immigrants
• Turning neighbors into enemies
• Defunding the arts
• Stoking fear of outsiders
• Demonizing educators

The fact that almost EVERY former confederate state is moving to completely eliminate Black representatives almost immediately after the SCOTUS decision should be more than enough proof that voting rights still need protection and racism is far from gone in this country.
I just want to point out....
The amount of money the United States has spent on war in the last 67 days, is roughly the same cost that Bernie Sanders proposed for universal college. So the real question is never can we afford it, it's what we choose to prioritize.
Cancelling an ongoing election after ballots are already cast — to redraw maps and eliminate Black majority districts.
This is democracy being dismantled in broad daylight.
The Iran war is so unpopular that they are resorting to rigging the midterms.
Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.
The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.

Stop demanding that Obama say something.
He did. So did Hillary. Kamala. Biden. Bill.
They warned repeatedly, explicitly before the election.
Those warnings didn’t fail. They were ignored.
Obama’s silence isn’t the problem..,how people voted or didn’t vote are.
