I have a problem with ppl who are putting that 1st inning entirely on Jesus sanchez. Should he have made that play? Absolutely. But Gausman before and after that play did not have his command. Sometimes a pitcher needs to pick up his fielder, and he didn’t.

@tavkniesnythews It was pretty evident too Pelley didn’t trust Brad Treliving (understandable) but I think now that he’s hired his guy (guys) maybe he’s more comfortable stepping aside and letting them have more autonomy over the team, which is a huge positive in terms of him butting out

I think this is going to be a bit off-season for Toronto. The mandate from ownership is too make this is a quick turnaround. Chayka being pelleys guy I think has more trust and autonomy, I think he has the ability to make some bigger moves. This is the first of a few big moves
