@jonah_nv Immediately after Gausman walked multiple batters and left a cookie down the middle. That play was brutal Iโm not excusing it. But putting all 6 runs on Sanchez is uneducated
@Metrolinx@GOtransit what will go transit be doing to compensate its customers who were once again affected by your service that saw trains at 450, 520 canceled? I donโt want to tap my presto card and have my train cancelled
@Keeshan26284093 I think going from 115 points to 75 points and being last in nearly every single offensive and defensive category, and the best goal scorer in the league putting up 20 goals and his refusal to play young players had more of an impact then a silly hashtag, Keeshan.
@disintti We arenโt the 110 point team anymore who can just add a couple reliable bottom 6 guys and a few solid but nothing special d men. To get this thing to eb an off year weโre gonna have to make some uncomfortable signings like this. Risk is required. Iโm happy they did it
The leafs are simply not a good enough hockey team to continue the Dubas Treliving tradition of โsafeโ moves. This team is looking to jump from 28th in the league to somewhere in the top 16 a 20+ point jump, you cannot do that with โsafeโ vanilla players
@MaestroVas Just like sometimes the defence picks up the pitcher, sometimes the pitcher gotta pick up the defence. Mutual street. Gausman still struggles if he makes rhat play. Yet Iโve seen multiple ppl blame it all on Sanchez
I have a problem with ppl who are putting that 1st inning entirely on Jesus sanchez. Should he have made that play? Absolutely. But Gausman before and after that play did not have his command. Sometimes a pitcher needs to pick up his fielder, and he didnโt.
Brendon Little is with the Blue Jays in Chicago. Club hasn't made a roster move yet but one could potentially be coming prior to first pitch.
Little's pitched to a 2.31 ERA with a 31.7 K% and 18.8 BB% over 24 appearances with Buffalo since he was optioned in early April
@tavkniesnythews It was pretty evident too Pelley didnโt trust Brad Treliving (understandable) but I think now that heโs hired his guy (guys) maybe heโs more comfortable stepping aside and letting them have more autonomy over the team, which is a huge positive in terms of him butting out
I think this is going to be a bit off-season for Toronto. The mandate from ownership is too make this is a quick turnaround. Chayka being pelleys guy I think has more trust and autonomy, I think he has the ability to make some bigger moves. This is the first of a few big moves
@tavkniesnythews Itโs notable he hasnโt been at any of the press conferences lately, wonder if heโs finally realized he needs to step aside a bit and let the guy HE picked do the job he was hired to do.
