Today we celebrated 'Sherlock Holmes Day' by using our powers of deduction to solve The Mystery of The One Way Footprints! You would be surprised to see what we found out! #SherlockHolmesDay

Today the children enjoyed 'Save the bee' Day. We identified the White bottomed Bee sitting on the chives flower. We created lapbooks about bees, using research, finishing the day by designing a bee friendly garden and painting a rock as a bee to add to our gardens at home.

Our older children developed their artistic skills by using pastels to recreate some amazing art work!

Today we were land artists! We learnt about an artist called #AndyGoldsworthy who creates sculptures using natural materials. We went on a hunt to collect some natural materials to create our own work of art! We were inspired by nature that’s for sure. Look at our creations...

Today we went around school to look closely at plants. We learnt that plants have roots, a stem, leaves and some have flowers. Plants, leaves and flowers can be different shapes, sizes and colours. We made our own flowers and some of us labelled them! What flowers can you see?

We celebrated World Earth Week by creating seed bombs they can be placed in the garden and await the beautiful flowery surprise. Then we created a wormery, we found one worm we named Houdini, as he wouldn't stay still and tried to escape..Have a safe weekend everyone!
