Printed up $80 worth of little flyer "sell sheets" to try to hit up companies for donations at the GameCon.
Hopefully I don't get booted, but we'll see.
If you like the dogs I share and they cheer you up daily, I’d love you to watch this one video.
I only do this once a year and never ask any other time.
You can support here and if you can’t sharing this video helps 🙏 https://t.co/Roftrb3ZWW
An incredible day of rescues with 4 dogs saved in total.
A longer watch but come ride along to see what really happens when we head out in the truck.
Lots of ups and downs today!
Marine scientists have discovered a record number of new species living in the depths of the world's oceans over the past year.
A total of 1,121 new marine species were discovered in a single year. https://t.co/mFBQ7AeHxZ
New research:
Pilot whales are struggling to hear over ship noise
They're trying to compensate, increasing dB with all their might—but failing—it's too overwhelming
Some just give up & fall silent
It's hard for us to grasp how profoundly this impacts every facet of their lives.
One week with Bumpy! Like any baby, he sleeps deeply and often – especially snuggled up to his Keeper, with a tummy full of milk.
Bumpy was rescued just last weekend, after the Kenya Wildlife Service received reports of a deceased female hippo with an orphan left behind. She appears to have died in a territorial fight, likely defending her baby’s life. Bumpy had stayed huddled beside his mother’s body for at least a day.
Now, Bumpy has a family with us and a wild future ahead. He’ll never be alone again – Keepers like Joseph, pictured here, are with him around the clock, loving him and attending to his every need. As you can see, he is lapping it up!

Stay tuned for the full video of Veer’s bell removal and the story behind why this moment means so much.
I think sometimes dogs are sent to us. We’ve all had that feeling right? This is certainly the case with Sonny who recently got adopted from us and I wanted to shine the light on his owners and share a remarkable story.
In the video you will see the amazing Sena. They saved her and built her back up and selflessly gave her the end to her life she deserved. After she left this world Beth was devastated but that’s when she spotted Sonny. As Beth says…
When I saw the clip of Sonny looking up from the sofa, it literally felt like I was looking into Senas eyes because she often had that same expression. I cried most of the day thinking about him and I just had that gut feeling that she’d sent him to us. Same eyes, similar fur, resilient spirit - then the fact he could only be adopted in Thailand and had been waiting 220 days. It all just felt like fate.
Now he’s home he continues to show similarities, the way his butt wiggles with his tail, the way he will go outside to sunbathe for a few minutes then come back in, how protective he is of myself and Gonz. But Sonny is younger and healthier than Sena, it’s almost like she sent us him to continue to love and enjoy all the things she couldn’t do due to her health.
I think we can all agree Sonny has found the ideal parents and although he will never replace Sena he was certainly sent to the wonderful Beth and Gonz. Some things are just meant to be.
To see how they care for their current dog and cherish the memory of what has come before is a thing of beauty. Beautiful people @sonnyfromsena ❤️
