@demirogluc I think statistics would prove that it is far more dangerous to take a stroll to work in Sweden in this season than skiing! 😆 Get well soon!
I had missed to share this here as well! I have announced this a little while ago because I was so excited and now it's official official. Thank you for having me, I'm delighted to be part of the team! @WorldLeisureJ

First day for Judith Waller and I at the 27th Annual Congress of the European College of Sport Science in Sevilla. It's exciting to be at a conference in person again. Today we listen to experts in soccer science and tomorrow we present our research on artificial turf.

Here is a lovely post about our course that I have been teaching with Professor Johan Edelheim and @emilie_crossley - there we explore the intersections of modernity, #cats and #tourism.
We have the classes of “Feline Tourism: The wonders of travelling to cats, travelling for cats, cats that are travelling, and cat hospitality” (U024) organized by Research Faculty of Media and Communication from June 27th to July 14th.
The first week of teaching at @HokkaidoUni in collaboration with @Mittuni has come to an end. With my colleagues Johan Edelheim & @emilie_crossley we have been teaching a feline tourism course (featured on posters around campus) in hybrid format.Ready for week2! #tourismteaching
I'm having a great time in Japan. I spent the last few days exploring and absorbing. I was lucky enough to get to watch part of the #YOSAKOIソーラン祭り2022 - such an amazing experience. Today is my first day at @HokkaidoUni so I look forward to a new day and new challenges!
Today I'm sharing some good news. I made it to #japan and I will soon start my #jspsfellowship for the summer. I will be doing research here for 2 months! #tourismresearch#jsps
My colleague Dr. Judith Waller and I presented today our research on the #Sustainability of #artificialturf from a #policy perspective at the conference @ISB_CCTR#CCTR2022. Thanks for having us presenting our work in the Mistra sport & outdoor programme.
