@FedExHelp@FedEx, @FedExHelp: I was also told by a representative that if a delivery reattempt was not made yesterday, I could pick the package up on Saturday. I am now being told that they cannot provide the address of the FedEx facility. "Security concern."
@FedEx, any idea why your driver said delivery was attempted when he never got out of the truck? Not cool leaving my staff without their paychecks over a long holiday weekend. @FedExHelp
@FedExHelp@FedEx , @FedExHelp : Yesterday your driver failed to deliver a package for no explicable reason. Last night I was assured by a FedEx representative that the package would be upgraded to Saturday delivery. Today, Saturday, there has been no update to the tracking information.
@FedExHelp I'm surprised that it's taken so long to "investigate" this matter. Seems like it would save everyone a lot of trouble to just deliver the package. You know, your one job.
As a none-too-subtle reminder to our patrons, Eric Stoltz' Mask and Jim Carrey's The Mask movies will be played on repeat on our screens once we reopen. Behave or we'll have add Son of The Mask to the rotation. There's not turning once we've broken the Jamie Kennedy seal.
I guess we'll be opening back up sometime soon. Shit or get off the pot, right? If Covid-19 numbers aren't looking any better and pretty much every other restaurant and bar is open, we might as well get in on the action and start hemorrhaging slightly less money.
I used to frequent this vender at Boston's Faneuil Hall called Potato Republic. It was a simpler time when you could have a restaurant that sold only potatoes and not be demonized for it on the internet. #aproposofnothing
Every time we host team trivia at The Quarter Barrel, I hope somebody will use the team name "Dicks of Tron". Another trivia night tonight. No dicks signed up.
If you're not going to be at any festivals this seasons to engage this old-timers mug in some beer convo, swing by the bar and treat yourself to a stein of our Oktoberfest beer... and spread some love for pumpkin beers so I can bring Nonsuch back!!
A wise—though he might argue with that descriptor—brewer that I used to work with once told me that a brewers should always be seen with a beer in their hand but never be seen drunk. At any rate, Noon on a Monday feels a bit early for a drunken I-Love-You-Man rant.
Thanks to everybody that supports The Quarter Barrel. Special thanks to everybody that supports The Quarter Barrel AS A BREWERY. And there are a lot of festivals on the horizon. I look forward to meeting new people and talking beer!
