I took a stroll in the White Oaks rose garden tonight. This garden was a pet project of @FurmanU former First Lady Martha Johns and is named in her honor. She loved Furman dearly and set the first spouse bar incredibly high. Here are a few photos from the garden in her memory.
I wear several hats at @FurmanU - 1st gent, athletics fan, arts supporter, parent, teacher. But perhaps the most important is annual donor. Won’t you join me on #DinsDay and support your favorite area? https://t.co/lKb2Xw3UWO
There’s still time to make your #DinsDay gift to ensure @FurmanU can continue to deliver transformational experiences in her 3rd century. Thanks if you’ve already given!
It’s #DinsDay! I hope you will join me in supporting @FurmanU today with a gift to the areas that are important to you - scholarships, athletics, student experiences, the arts - you choose. Your gift, regardless of size, will make a difference in a student’s Furman experience.
@FurmanU students- here’s a preview of what @ebeth930 and I will be delivering Wednesday night. Hope to find you in your favorite study spot. Starting at the library around 7:00 PM
