The Black Americans you see in this video eventually unionized to fight for better wages. By the 90’s many of them were replaced by migrants that the companies could pay low wages. That “Americans just don’t want to do the work” phrase isn’t exactly accurate🧐.
So…here we are!!! It’s Monday and….

“What Kept you up last night?”
I LOVED tackling when my body still allowed me to do it! 😂 So I pay close attention to it.
Early in the season, DBs gotta understand space, angles, approach & leverage. I picked 4 plays from Week 1 to break down, & @FredTaylor helped me bring the tackling mindset to life.
Wish this would’ve helped me get HIM on the ground when we played… ‘cause that’s STILL what keeps me up at night! 😂

As talk about Black colleges getting beat down in money, Should be mentioned that @TheSWAC Commish BEEN working to address rev sharing. SWAC was $2MIL in the red in 2018. In the black now. In large part to TV rev & now a the free TV app to help build revenue for all SWAC schools
I think one of the worst things that’s been normalized is using poor behaviors of other groups as a measuring stick to say any and everything is ok and doesn’t matter
I’m seeing this far too often on every topic from finances to basic common sense
It’s interesting to observe
You sitting there not making a move, while all these other groups of people walking over you. Get on your feet, get in these books and log into those courses, brotha. YOU are unstoppable.
Remember when Crunchyroll bought Funimation and people lost whole digital libraries? they wouldn’t even let them download a digital copy of what they purchased. This can arbitrarily happen at any time, you can never convince me that digital is better.
I’m a very firm believer, that we have to stop being out of position resulting in losing the stuff that the prior generations went through very hard circumstances to get
One reason I’m an advocate for learning financial literacy, having a high paying skill, avoiding the avoidable, reading, etc
I take a lot of pride in knowing that I am my ancestors wildest dream and I have a lot of respect for what they died for me to have
I see a lot of people trying to turn Juneteenth into some nonsense, but I really think it's important to honor Black American history & heritage
Four USPS workers have died at the Palmetto, Georgia mail sorting facility since it opened just two years ago, including Eric Smith and Demarcus Little, whose deaths have left coworkers searching for answers. Now, workers are raising concerns about safety and the inability to reliably call for help inside the building. No one should fear losing their life simply for going to work!
If you understood the historical context, that you were never supposed to make $1 under this system; and that people still don't want you to make any money or build wealth, it might change your mind about spending all your money on pay day and keeping none for yourself
Nobody taught you money because nobody taught them either. Your parents weren't hiding the secrets. They just didn't know. At some point you have to stop waiting for someone to hand you the information and go find it yourself. It's all out there. Has been for decades.
