The most outrageous part of this is that by putting an end to game preservation, PlayStation is essentially giving a big fat middle finger to the developers, THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES, by saying « so, that so called ‘’art’’ of yours, it doesn’t deserve to live past the product’s license expiration »

More than consumers, who ironically are largely responsible for this, I hope to see developers rise up against it.

PC games can be stored virtually forever.

As soon as the console dies and the servers are shutdown, those are gone for good.
