Randburg SDC Outage Update

Date: 15 August 2025
Time: 16h55

Olivedale Substation: We are pleased to announce that the power supply has been fully restored. This outage was caused by a faulty cable.

Affecting parts of Northriding AH, Boundary Park and other possible surrounding areas.

Customers will be updated as more information becomes available

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

@CityPowerJhb La Mesa Complex on maple drive Northwold Ext14 no power. Mini substation seems to be affected . Currently not scheduled for load shedding. Tried logging a call but system is offline.
Please assist , we have no power since Wednesday afternoon.

Please note that there is a major burst on 600mm main on Bellairs & Blandford. Water has been isolated. Affected areas: Northriding, Jhb north, Sharonlea, Sundowner, Olivedale, Hoogland, Bloubosrand and Kya Sands. We will refill at Olivedale hospital. There is no ETC. ^NN
