It's a matter of degrees. Anyone from the British isles can assimilate, frankly, in days.

The next ring is probably the Anglo sphere. Then native western/ Northern European Christian. Then native Eastern European Christian. And so on and so forth on a sort of concentric circle basis.

Whether someone of another race can be Anglian is solely a matter of which type of English is being invoked. They will obviously never be ethnically English. And that's fine.
