Dear Lord,
Thank you for the opportunity to get away from the person who hurt me the most. I'll make sure to reflect, cherish, and remember this by finding my spark back again.
Lovingly yours,
Claire
Today, I had the chance to box.
Hearing every punch resonate with the whole gym brought peace. Despite feeling heavy and out of breath, the emptiness started to dim down — but not entirely.
As I wait for my ride home, I look up. The moon was smiling. This time, I felt comforted.
As I look up in the dark skies, with no stars to light up the night, a single thought came to mind — how heavy can you feel? Even the universe is one with your emptiness.
The moon was contemptuous; as if saying, "You deserve how you currently feel."
