Hebrews 12:2 (NIV):
“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
That's the Word of the Lord.

I still don’t think Arsenal need Bruno. They have Rice in the No. 8 role, and Merino can cover there as well. Bruno isn’t coming in to bench Rice.
But it’s actually tempting because it raises the technical level of the whole team. You can play a Rice–Bruno-Odegaard midfield. Do you know how that sounds? Or even use a Bruno–Rice double 8.
The biggest thing Bruno gives you isn’t just quality on the ball, it’s control. He dictates tempo, receives under pressure, breaks lines with his passing, wins duels, and has the intensity to press for 90 minutes. Pair that with Rice’s ball-winning ability and athleticism, and Arsenal have one of the most complete midfields in Europe.
Against stronger teams, that midfield gives you security without losing creativity. Against teams that sit deep, Bruno’s passing range and ability to find runners between the lines become another weapon. It also reduces the creative burden on Odegaard because Bruno can progress the ball from deeper areas.
Do Arsenal need him? Probably not. But top teams don’t always buy players because they need them, they buy them because exceptional players make an already great team even better.
