I don’t want to sound like a delusionally optimistic clippers fan, but I really don’t think much change needs to happen for this team. Ik a lot of ppl just want to blow everything up, but I don’t think the answer is there. If this pic conveys, Kawhi is staying Fs…
@kalebfessahaye@APH00PS@Sam_Vecenie Shai is 6’5 195, Amen and Ausar Thompson are both 6’7 200, Jalen Suggs is 6’5 200, and Cason Wallace is 6’3 195. All of these guards are under 200lbs and are defensive hounds. Not to mention the fact that Wagler is barely 19 and isn’t even done growing. He’ll be fine.
Steve Ballmer has maintained a firm stance against trading Kawhi Leonard, per @anthonyVslater
The Clippers want to continue building around him

We’re not losing a lot here. Most of these players are ppl I wanted gone since November and the pick is t14 protected. Only guy I care about is DJJ but AD is a great compromise if any.
Bleacher Report ranks the Clippers as the 3rd best trade destination for Anthony Davis 👀
Their proposed package:
Wizards Receive: Terance Mann, Bogdan Bogdanović, Brook Lopez, Nicolas Batum, 2027 first-round pick (via NYK), 2030 first-round pick (via LAC; top-14 protected), 2029 second-round pick (DAL via BKN)
Nets Receive: Derrick Jones Jr., Bradley Beal
Clippers Receive: Anthony Davis
Thoughts? 🤔
@KtreyB@SleeperClippers@SleeperWizards@SleeperNets Because AJ is an equal to or better player than AD and 10+ years younger. Why would they need 2 players of the same archetype starting. You can’t bench either of them so what u gon do lol.
I will never understand what Kawhi’s obsession was with having PG be his teammate. I get that, at the time, PG was a phenomenal player, but why is HE the player that Kawhi just needed on the team?
Crazy but true: In 2019, the Thunder offered the Raptors Russell Westbrook and Paul George in exchange for Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, and 4 unprotected 1st-round picks.
This was reportedly one of the only ways Kawhi would’ve stayed in Toronto… but the Raptors declined. 😳 (via @wojespn)
@marco915121@ClipsLand As a fan watching that series, I will never say we should’ve won the chip in 2020. Doc Rivers should never be awarded a championship ever again.
@APH00PS@djf_primal If u look at that roster they rlly need a star scorer. Caleb just isn’t that on paper. But I think Memphis could possibly take Acuff if they’re fully set on moving on from Ja, which told make Chicago have to take Boozer over Caleb. Idk what other prospect could jump higher.
@KingTiger262@JibbaBones As a CENTER he averaged 3.6 rebounds and shot 42% from the field. League average for centers was 55% this season. He was without a doubt one of the bottom 3 centers in the league this season and I’d argue the worst by far lol.
