@danforhan @TonyCMKE There are legit charges but refs get fooled too easily. If you at least removed the circle in the paint it would solve some the undercutting we’re seeing today. Rushing to get your feet outside the boundary well after the player is in flight is not good defense.

@TonyCMKE Especially below the rim where players risk getting injured. It makes no logical sense to encourage aggressive offense and attacking the rim yet allowing defenders to slide underneath you after you’ve already taken flight. The original rule was not meant to be called this way.

@TonyCMKE Worst rule in all of sports. It rewards lazy defense. Takes away contesting shots at the rim and potential highlight dunks. Helps nonathletic players pretend like they’re playing “defense.” Keep the block/charge but disallow it in the paint.
