Heart break for those you sincerely care about hits different. But you still put a smile on your face, act like nothing happened, and love them the same.
Seeing life with lens of faith brings direction and purpose in our life. But then, faith comes by hearing (and reading) the Word. Therefore, the two comes hand in hand. Unless we open our Bibles, we won’t know our life’s true and worthwhile purpose. #writeitdown
Paused for a moment and realized those are adjectives to describe God.
Which brings up a good question to ponder: How much of God am I consuming? Or how consumed am I of God?
No wonder we find ourselves unable to rise above the standards of the world.
Because we still are consumed by things of this world instead of things that are honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent and worthy of praise.
Looking at the life and end of King Solomon just reinforces the truth that no amount of success (whether personal, in career, or in ministry) or influence can compensate for unchecked and unstable spiritual foundations. #completesurrender
