My #Lanterns finale review for @TheMovieNewsNet! A satisfying conclusion to John’s origin, now the series needs to fly like it’s protagonist

@retneysholocron What I do feel was a massive missed opportunity was not getting a single BTS shot of all the legacy heroes in costume together since they knew they weren’t going to meet in the film. Maybe it’s silly but I think having that release after the film would have been really nice
@retneysholocron Fan service would have been something like Luke randomly showing up on Starkiller Base to save the day. That said, I’m not sure where a scene of them together would fit given the story they were telling.
@risebluesun@HasbroPulse My Black Series wish list is mostly ST characters that were never made or need an update
That said, I think Hasbro is better off keeping watch on what fans post (which we know they do) rather than a vote or poll since those get taken over by people who won’t buy the figure anyway
IF the new trilogy is X-XII then it needs to be about the next generation with the ST heroes in smaller mentor roles. It's a generational saga.
That's why I hope it's new trilogy I-III. It's too soon to move fully to the next generation when there's so much potential in this one
Honestly, agreed. Different stories need different mediums. There's a space for all (not to mention Disney+ desperately needs original shows and movies these days!)
Kathleen Kennedy believes Lucasfilm should still make STAR WARS streaming shows, in addition to theatrically released films.
"I think you absolutely need to do both. I think what's fantastic about streaming is that it's a different form of storytelling. It's long form storytelling. I think absolutely something like Star Wars belongs on television, but it's a different process than what you go through making a movie."
