@AngelPantss The child peers up at her mother with puffy eyes. The cuddles are helping, but she still feels bad.
“Song.” She murmurs from behind the pacifier. Her mother’s voice is her favorite of all.
@AngelPantss — glared at her mother, through the tears, when given the cup of liquid. She’d lost her patience and had gone straight to cranky.
“Icky.” She whined after smelling the liquid that was in the cup. It wasn’t juice, she could tell.
@AngelPantss It was a little after midnight when the chaos started.
Faint cries could be heard coming from Wren’s room, as the child sat up in her bed. She was looking green and pale in the face, and sweating through her pajamas.
@AngelPantss — sweet personality that Wren possessed.
But tonight was different. The toddler was sick and scared. And her mother kept making her do things, when all she wanted was to be comforted.
And the fever, it made her irritable. It wasn’t fun for either of them.
The child full on —
@AngelPantss — herself. And the cold towels only made her shivers increase.
Wren shoved Waverly’s hand that held the towel, trying to push it away from her.
@AngelPantss Wren cried the entire time she was being changed. It meant being put down, and all she wanted was to be held by her mother.
“No mommy, no!” The tears increased as the cold and wet towel pressed against her skin.
She might’ve been hot to the touch, but she felt cold to —
@AngelPantss Wren vomited her dinner into the trashcan. And after dry heaving a few times, she buried her face within Waverly’s neck.
Despite her high fever, the child was shivering and the air felt cold to her. She didn’t like it.
“M’sorry mommy.” She whimpered, feeling bad for —
@RxdHaught Wren’s pout stays on her face even after there’s a mention of getting to sleep with her mommies. She still doesn’t want to sleep.
“Milk?” She asks. It’s part of her routine to have a sippy cup of warm milk before bed.
@AngelPantss Wren looks at the frog for a few more moments. She likes him a lot, even though he doesn’t move or do anything special.
“Mommy like him?” She asks, still not tearing her eyes away from the frog.
@AngelPantss Wren snuggles into her mother’s arms, nodding with dimples shining out of pure happiness.
“Him yellow.” She said, pointing back to the frog statue.
